IT Skillfinder can offer a wide range of Business Analyst jobs across different sectors In The UK, Europe and The Middle East, including Investment Banking, Fund Management and Private Banking, as well as Back Office Processing and more General IT.  Many of our Clients require particular functional experience, for example in financial products such as equities, derivatives, bonds or fixed income, and may request particular experience in OTC or ETD traded products and Buy-side or sell-side expertise.
 
Many of our Clients are continuing with long standing implementation projects, which require Business Analysts with strong skills in requirement gathering, working with users, formulating documentation and testing alongside specific skills in particular packages and applications. Investment banks often require Business Analysts with Calypso, Sophis, T24 or Summit experience, whilst Fund Managers may require Simcorp, Thinkfolio, Charles River or Latent Zero knowledge, as systems need to be set up and customised.
 
Many of our European Clients require Functional Analysts/Business Analysts with back office skills including Corporate Actions, Collateral Management and Settlements/Clearing as various new banking regulations require urgent system modifications in such areas.
 
Some Clients have a strong preference for Business Analysts used to working on large projects in a structured environment with methodologies such as Visio, UML, MS Project or SSADM, whilst other Clients require Business Analysts from a less structured background able to work in a more flexible environment.  Strong communication and documentation expertise are essential for most Business Analyst roles, whilst the ability to train and lead workshops are highly useful skills.
