  • Application Support/DBA Developer – SQL/.NET/SharePoint/LINUX

    An Application Support/DBA Developer- SQL/.NET/UNIX/SharePoint is required by my client who specialise in the Public and Private Housing Market.
    Experience of working in a SQL, .NET SharePoint and Unix/Linux Environment.
    The role will entail 30% Project Management, 40% New Development and Implementation and 30% operational work. The ideal Application Support./DBA Developer should have some experience in Project Management and ideally have lead an implementation project.

    Location: Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire

    Remuneration: Up to £38,000 per annum + benefits

    The role is to ensure the smooth implementation of Projects and the successful Application Support/DBA Developer will take responsibility for Design, Implementation, testing and technical sign-off. You must have experience leading a Project and be able to develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.

    Essential Skills:
    • Experience of Leading a Project
    • Proven Experience of integration projects including XML, sftp and File Transfer with External Organisations
    • Strong Skills with SQL and SQL server Applications including confident use of SSIS (SQL Integration Services)
    • Good track record of Project Delivery Focused on Information Systems and understanding and interpretation of Business Requirements

    Desirable Skills:
    • Qualification or industry-standard accreditation in a structured Project Management methodology
    • Expert use of Project Management Software (eg. Microsoft Project)
    • Microsoft Dynamics and SSRS and other CRM
    • Linux/Unix system Administration
    • Microsoft SharePoint
