    JOB PURPOSE
    Working closely with the relevant business contacts to identify, specify, test and implement appropriate business solutions. The work will focus on our trust and asset management businesses and the job holder will also be expected to link closely with technology contacts, both internal and external.

    KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
    o Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of the relevant business areas. Work closely with key business personnel to identify required changes.
    o Possess a sound technical understanding of our systems and how they link together to meet business needs.
    o Review and edit requirements, develop specifications and business processes related to proposed business solutions.
    o Look to improve existing business practices by seeking opportunities to transform methods through the adoption of fresh insights and innovative approaches.
    o Ensure that appropriate testing takes place for any new changes or solutions.
    o Understand the importance of working to plans and agreed deadlines.
    o Engage and manage third party relationships where appropriate.
    o Look to become a recognised subject matter expert in key areas.
    o Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.

    KEY REGULATORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Ensure that any changes or new developments are implemented in such a way as to fully meet any regulatory and/or business compliance rules or requirements.

    KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
    o Minimum 5 years experience as a business systems analyst in the financial services industry
    o Must have experience of investment management systems and any knowledge of SimCorp Dimension would be desirable.
    o A good knowledge of processes and procedures relating to investment management.
    o A good knowledge of business processes.
    o A good knowledge of the IT systems and their underlying technologies
    o A sound appreciation and experience of good project management disciplines within industry standard methods.
    o Preferably educated to degree level
