  • DESKTOP SUPPORT ENGINEER required for industry leading financial software provider based in Luxembourg.

    Day to day IT tasks on users systems (PCs and Citrix Servers),
    End user support on all aspects of their IT infrastructure user experience,
    Assistance to System Engineers for infrastructure systems management,


    Good windows client platform (XP) knowledge from an IT and user perspective
    Good standard Windows Desktop software suite knowledge (MS Office products, IE and alternate browsers, etc...) from an IT and user perspective
    English and French are required
    IT Scripting languages (shell, VBScript) would be a plus

    Basic Windows Server concepts:
    - AD forest / domain / site
    - GPOs
    - DHCP / DNS
    - RIS

    Citrix Presentation Server 4.x
    Citrix Xenapp would be an asset


    Profile:

    IT education and degree (BAC+3/5, Master degree),
    At least 2 years in a similar position,
    Capacity to learn and service oriented.
