  • Developer J2EE SWING, Transact-SQL T-SQL - - Knowledge of WebSphere / Netbeans / RAD / Maven / JUnit / QTP / Quality Center would be a plus.

    Technical Skills - Must have:
    - Experienced Java developer, proven expertise with SWING, J2EE is a must. Minimum 4 years of experience.
    - Sybase Transact-SQL stored procedures. programming expertise ; alternatively Microsoft SQL Server Transact-SQL stored procedures programming expertise.
    Expected experience: 3 years.

    The main program is focused on delivering global trading systems across a global user community, trading is across multiple asset categories.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    The candidate will be working on the basis of functional specification to create design and technical specification artifacts.

    He or she will be delivering java and some sql code to deliver on new feature requests combined with strong unit test cases to be used by automated build process'.

    The candidate should expect to work with offshore development centers for some aspects of the duties.

    The candidate will work under the supervision of a project manager/development manager in charge of defining the objectives and deadlines of the project.

    The candidate should be expecting a culture of pair programming and should be familiar with SCRUMP / XP principles.

    General Skills
    - Good written and spoken technical English
    - Ability to write functional and technical specifications documents
    - Ability to integrate within a team and adapt to organization in place
    - Knowledge of the financial services industry is a must
    - Strong analytical skills a must
    - Knowledge of WebSphere / Netbeans / RAD / Maven / JUnit / QTP / Quality Center would be a plus.
