  • Senior Java Developer (Java J2EE J2SE Trading Banking Finance) required by my financial company in Zurich Zug Switzerland. You MUST have the following:

    - 4+ years Java back end development J2EE J2SE
    - Linux OR UNIX

    The following would be DESIRABLE:

    - Finance, Banking, Trading experience
    - Knowledge of financial instruments
    - Technical leadership
    - Spring or Hibernate
    - C++ or C#
    - SQL Server or Oracle

    Role: You will be working as a technical lead of a small team of 2 or 3 Java back end (J2EE/J2SE) developers working on the development of a range of trading and middle and back office platforms. You may be required to develop in C++ and C# on occasion. You will mainly be working with Linux and UNIX based platforms. The environment is flat but a meritocracy and achievement is recognised and rewarded. You will be:
