  • Java developers currently needed by a leading Financial Institution based in Germany. Your duties will consist of: development (writing technical designs, implementation, unit testing) and good communicative skills (team/customer, 2nd level support). Essential skills: experience in client server application development, excellent Java experience, competencies in writing technical design documents, team-oriented and communicative, language skills in german and english. Desirable skills: knowledge in stock and/or derivative exchange business, basic knowledge in Linux/Unix, basic knowledge in C++, XML, Perl, Python, basic knowledge in data base application development (MySQL, Oracle, ODBC, JDBC), basic knowledge in WebSphere/MQ. This is a contract role initially for 11.5 months (Extendable). Chance to get into banking - No banking experience needed. Excellent rates paid.
