    Manufacturing Engineer – Mechanical Engineer with 3 + years of experience in Manufacturing engineering. The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have worked on several projects and provide the link between R&D and Production. Working with a Global Manufacturer in Basel, supporting design engineers in QM and feasibility of designs, including design phase reviews and design to manufacture capabilities. You will approve process documentation and liaise closely with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. Medical Device/Automotive/Chemical industry experience desirable.

    Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, parts & materials. Also fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards in close co-operation with sites.

    Support manufacturing site engineering team to plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes. Understanding of lean and six sigma principles in production and supply chain also desirable.


    Work with vendors to determine product specifications and evaluate products according to design output and quality standards.

    Act as the responsible manufacturing engineer in multiple project/product teams, as the single point of contact for the definition of any topics related to manufacturing and processes. Identify and develop cost reduction opportunities during product lifecycle
    Degree in Engineering or natural science. International experience & project management and leading/working within cross-functional teams. Up to 125,000 CHF Base + Bonus + Package.
