  • Leading City based, Asset Management / Hedge Fund, are looking for a Front end C#, Winforms and ASP.Net developer to maintain and enhance the user interface to the Order management, execution and risk management part of the system.

    Job specification.
    The central trading system used by the company, has been developed in-house using a C# ASP.Net and Windows Forms based front end with Microsoft SQL Server database and carries out idea generation, risk management and order execution. We are looking for someone who will work closely with the users of the system and the other developers in the team to enhance the current application and suggest new ways to present data. Experience in the graphical representation of data on web pages is preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to gain an understanding of the whole of the system from database to web pages but their primary responsibility will be for front-end coding and enhancements.

    Required Technical Skills:-
    Strong C# and ASP.Net Development skills with experience of working with users to develop flexible and powerful web pages.
    Strong SQL (T-SQL) and SQL Server 2000/ 2005 and query optimisation are important.
    Strong Mathematical skills and a high level of intellectual curiosity.

    Business Skills:- Experience in a financial environment, (Asset Management Hedge Funds or Investment Banking) ideally with experience of equities or equity research would be advantageous.
    Experience in working with an equity trading system and an understanding of the equity trading process would be helpful.
