  • Sybase (TSQL/T-SQL/Transact SQL) Developer/Programmer (English Speaker)- Switzerland.

    Required Technical Skills:
    Sybase Transact-SQL expertise: proven experience in design and optimization of stored procedures on large database servers.
    Scripting languages: experience in building automation tools in Perl or Python
    Object oriented language: some experience with Java.

    Roles and Responsibilities:
    The candidate will be a specialist in designing and coding in TSQL in Sybase and will be heavily involved in a global system for a major private bank.
    The role will include reverse engineering, optimizing and improving existing processes running on Sybase data servers.
    He or she will be in charge of programming the application as well as supervising work delegated to our off-shore development center.
    The candidate will work under the supervision of a project manager in charge of defining the objectives and deadlines of the project.

    General Skills:
    Very good written and spoken technical English
    Ability to write functional and technical specifications documents
    Ability to integrate a team and adapt to organization in place
