  • Sybase (TSQL/T-SQL) Developer English Speaker Switzerland - Build SQL Developer

    Roles and Responsibilities
    - The candidate will be a specialist in designing and coding in TSQL in Sybase and will be heavily involved in a global system for a major private bank.
    - The role will include reverse engineering, optimizing and improving existing processes running on Sybase data servers.
    - He or she will be in charge of programming the application as well as supervising work delegated to our off-shore development center.
    - The candidate will work under the supervision of a project manager in charge of defining the objectives and deadlines of the project.

    General Skills
    - Very good written and spoken technical English
    - Ability to write functional and technical specifications documents
    - Ability to integrate a team and adapt to organization in place

    Required Technical Skills
    - Sybase Transact-SQL expertise: proven experience in design and optimization of stored procedures on large database servers. (Min. 3 years of experience)
    - Scripting languages: experience in building automation tools in Perl or Python (Min. 1-2 years)
    - Object oriented language: some experience with Java.

    Additional skills are an advantage:
    - Visual Basic (VB6), Visual C#, JSP, Websphere Portal.
