  • Leading Financial Software vendor are looking for Technical Implementation consultants to assist, from a technical standpoint, in the implementation of a sophisticated Order Management Systems (OMS) and compliance monitoring systems to the fund management industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background implementing major fund management or banking software applications, ideally within a front office environment. They will also have a good understanding of the fund management and/or front-office terminology and operations.

    Must have good experience in at least two major DBMS, having skills that cover installation, configuration and development.

    Technical Skills:

    • Client/server software architecture
    • Sybase, MS SQL Server and Oracle database set-up, configuration and administration.
    o 5 years in one
    o 2-3 years in another
    • Database knowledge;
    o PL/SQL or TransactSQL (Sybase or MS SQL Server)
    o Complex SQL
    o Debugging and optimisation
    • UNIX and/or Windows
    • System interfacing and integration
    • Experience of the following areas would be an advantage
    o Tomcat/Apache
    o N-tier architecture
    o Messaging infrastructure e.g. MQ Series, TIBCO, etc.
    • Development experience of the following an advantage
    o Java
    o C#.NET
    o Crystal Reports
    o XML Messaging
