  • UAT Test Coordinator with good experience in FinanceKit/Finance Kit required by large investment bank.

    Purpose
    To prepare User Acceptance Tests (UAT) of Finance Kit Upgrade Project and coordinate their execution.

    Responsibilities

    Test Preparation
    -Ensure that test cases and test scripts are prepared and available (in co-operation with Project Business Analysts and end-users)
    -Ensure that test software is available in an appropriate system environment (in co-operation with IT staff)
    -Ensure that test infrastructure is available and functioning (office space, PCs, access rights, system for incident documentation etc.)
    -Ensure that testers possess basic knowledge for the execution of the tests (prepare quick user guide or similar)

    Test Execution
    -Provide and maintain detailed scheduling of test activity: tester, time, test case
    -Ensure test execution: ensure presence of testers, if needed also of software developers, first-line help, documentation of test results
    -Ensure systematic filing of test cases, test execution and incidents
    -Immediately inform Wall Street Systems or the bank's internal developers as applicable of negative test results and ask for initial analysis
    -Assign failed tests to appropriate persons for follow-up and resolution
    -Follow-up on the resolution of incidents (who, when resolution expected, who retests)

    Test Reporting
    -Maintain detailed reports on test situation and progress: tests done / to be done, passed / failed, nature of incidents, resolution pending / resolved, duration of resolution etc.
    -During test execution: prepare supporting documents for regular test progress meetings with Wall Street Systems analysts and the bank's developers, business analysts, key end users, the bank's IT staff

    Qualifications/Competencies

    -Previous test planning and test execution experience
    -Deep understanding of testing concepts and principles for all stages
    -Knowledge of Front-to-Back core banking systems (such as Wall Street Suite / FinanceKit, Midas, Opics, Summit , Flexcube, Murex, Kondor+, K+TP, Olympic, Trading Assistant, Ambit, Quantum, Phase3, Globus, T24, Calypso)
    -Excellent communication skills
    -Excellent organisational skills with capability to prioritise
    -Knowledge of money market, FX and capital market products
    -Result oriented with the ability to work under pressure with rigour and precision
    -Self-confidence
    -University Degree in Business, Finance or Economics, preferably accounting-oriented
    -Excellent command of English, knowledge of French is an advantage
